Makeup Must-Haves From Paris
When it comes to beauty essentials, there are certain products I always make sure I stock up on when travelling. I recently visited Paris, and I have curated a list of some of my favourite makeup products that always find their way into my shopping basket.
When I´m in Paris, I always make time to pass by Sephora in Champ Elysees to see the newest makeup products and stock up on my current favourites.
For lips, nothing compares to Charlotte Tilbury’s iconic Pillow Talk Lip Liner and it is a must for naturally defined lips, while Anastasia’s Amber Sparkle Lip Gloss adds a touch of shimmer that elevates any look. Clinique’s Black Honey Lip Gloss is a timeless classic with its universally flattering hue, and for a sheer, buildable touch of colour, Sephora’s Sheer Shine Lipsticks in “06” and “All Natural” are everyday staples. Lastly, another lipliner favourite is the Sephora Collection. My good friend Tess mentioned how great they are, and I got them in three different shades. (@tesshell)
When it comes to skin, the Milk Makeup Cooling Water Stick, in the shade Chill, provides a natural-looking rouge and it looks like you just walked in from the cold. Laura Mercier’s Real Flawless Concealer in shade 1M1 is a travel essential, offering lightweight, natural coverage. Fenty Beauty’s Pro Filter Powder in Butter is perfect to set my eyelids and prep for eyeshadow. The Anastasia Beauty Balm is so natural and melts into the skin. For lashes, I have heard such great things about the Sephora’s Size Up Mascara. Its been trending on social media, and I got one in black and one in brown for both party and everyday wear. And of course, for hair and hydration, Gisou’s Honey Infused Oil is an indulgence that keeps locks shiny and healthy.
Finally, Gucci’s Baume Nourrissant is the ultimate multi-tasker—a luxurious balm that keeps lips and skin feeling soft and nourished, no matter the season. Also, the box itself is so pretty and looks great on my bed side table.
